This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the Soundcast VG7 Sound System with Outdoor EQ (purple trace) and Indoor EQ (green trace.) The left channel was measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter.

The VG7 Sound System’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures + 6.33 /– 4.52 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. An average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +6.70/–5.09 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3dB point with Outdoor EQ is at 51 Hz, and the –6dB point is at 47 Hz. The –3dB point with Indoor EQ is at 63 Hz, and the –6dB point is at 56 Hz.—MJP
