I don't think this manufacturer exists anymore. Following the links on this page either take me to a generic Amazon search engine, or the pinnacle site, which only seems to recommend other manufacturer's speakers.
Pinnacle Black Diamond 650 Series II Speaker System Test Bench
L/R Sensitivity: 88 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
Center Sensitivity: 85 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
Surround Sensitivity: 86 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the BD 650 II L/R (purple trace), Sonic 500 subwoofer (blue trace), BD 600 II center channel (green trace), and BD 500 II surround (red trace). All passive loudspeakers were measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes.
The BD 650’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and ±15º horizontal and vertical responses) measures +2.78/–3.28 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 53 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 45 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 6.01 ohms at 120 Hz and a phase angle of –32.77º at 80 Hz.
The BD 600’s listening-window response measures +1.41/–2.38 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. An average of axial and ±15º horizontal responses measures +2.00/–2.53 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 84 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 69 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 9.00 ohms at 200 Hz and a phase angle of –43.7º at 106 Hz.
The BD 500’s listening-window response measures +4.00/–3.43 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 93 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 71 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 5.63 ohms at 254 Hz and a phase angle of +40.79º at 2.2 kHz.
The Sonic 500’s close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 25 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 22 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 101 Hz with the Crossover Bypass switch set to On.—MJP
