I conducted several in-room measurements using the Parts Express Omnimic measuring software and microphone, a $300 package that offers accurate loudspeaker response curves. The results shown here are for my room, taken on the Monitor Audio Silver 300 7G (left channel only) either without subwoofers or with two SVS SB-3000 subwoofers. All of the measurements were taken at the listening position, at ear height and about 10 feet from the speakers, not an average of several positions. Experience has shown that an average of several readings in my room, taken across a span of about 2 feet, differs little from the single position measurement apart from smoothing out small ripples. All curves here are 1/6th octave smoothed.
