Satellite Sensitivity: 84.5 dB from 500Hz to 2kHz

Center Sensitivity: 88 dB from 500Hz to 2kHz

This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (corrected for on-wall boundary gain and employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the ProMonitor 600 satellites (purple trace), ProSub 600 subwoofer (blue trace), and ProCenter 600 center channel (green trace). All passive speakers were measured with grilles on at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes.

The ProMonitor 600's listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and ±15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +3.66/–2.20 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3dB point is at 121Hz, and the –6dB point is at 94Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.33 ohms at 326Hz and a phase angle of –32.33 degrees at 221Hz.

The ProCenter 600's listening-window response measures +4.00/–1.87 dB from 200Hz to 10kHz. An average of axial and ±15-degree horizontal responses measures +4.30/–2.02 dB from 200Hz to 10kHz. The –3dB point is at 132Hz, and the –6dB point is at 112Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.16 ohms at 326Hz and a phase angle of –32.60 degrees at 224Hz.

The ProSub 600's close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80Hz, indicates that the lower –3dB point is at 36Hz and the –6dB point is at 34Hz. The upper –3dB point is at 124Hz with the Low-Pass Filter control set to maximum.—MJP
