Sony Announces Pre-Sale and Pricing for Ultra Thin 4K TVs

Sony today announced pricing and availability for two of its 2015 4K Ultra HD TVs , the X900C and X910C, both touted as frameless, ultra thin models.

The X900C will be available in 55- and 65-inch versions, which will sell for $2,499 and $3,999 when they becomes available in July; the screen on both models is less than 0.2 inches thick. The 75-inch X910C, which will carry a suggested retail price of $5,499 when it ships later this summer, is hailed as “the thinnest TV of its size ever made.”

The Android TV-powered models support Google Cast and include Sony’s X1 and X-Reality PRO processing, which upscales HD content to 4K resolution. Pre-loaded streaming apps include Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, Hulu, CBS News, CBS Sports, Crackle, NBA Game Time, Pandora, and SlingTV.

The new models are available for presale now at sony.com, as well as Best Buy and Amazon.
