Shame they can't improve there reliability. We've had to stop selling Onkyo products ( Especially Receivers ). We sell mainly Yamaha ,Yamaha Aventage , Marantz. The Yamaha products have been top of the class in terms of dependability .

I recently purchased the Onkyo TX-NR717. It was the first A/V receiver I've bought in 10 years, to replace a JVC RX-8030VBK that I bought in 2003 but recently began shutting down randomly. I cannot believe I got the Onkyo for $500, which is basically what I had purchased my JVC for if you include inflation over the years. Since I am totally blown away by the performance of this receiver, I cannot even imagine what the TX-NR3010 must be like as a performer. Yikes!
