No multi-channel analog audio inputs

It was seriously disheartening to read “Multichannel music may be a dwindling genre,” and the lack of analog inputs supporting MCH audio seems to be leaving a fair number of people, including me, out in the cold. I have a Marantz pre-pro in my system now, and I’m interested in upgrading to Atmos compatible gear, but this leaves out a lot of (to me) important connections.
