Jamo D 7PEX Speaker System HT Labs Measures
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the D 7LCR L/C/R (purple trace), D 7SUB subwoofer (blue trace), and D 7SUR surround (red trace). All passive loudspeakers were measured at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes.
The D 7LCR's listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/-15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +1.07/-2.13 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. An average of axial and +/-15-degree horizontal responses measures +1.27/-2.00 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The -3dB point is at 92 Hz, and the -6dB point is at 80 Hz in stand mode. Impedance reaches a minimum of 3.35 ohms at 132 Hz and a phase angle of -41.28 degrees at 4.2 kHz. Sensitivity averages 87.5 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz.
The D 7SUR's three-face averaged response measures +2.62/-4.27 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The -3dB point is at 79 Hz, and the -6dB point is at 65 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 2.32 ohms at 20 kHz and a phase angle of -63.15 degrees at 7.1 kHz. Sensitivity averages 85 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz.
The D 7SUB's close-miked response, normalized to the average level from 40 to 80 Hz, indicates that the lower -3dB point is at 21 Hz and the -6dB point is at 18 Hz. The upper -3dB point is at 168 Hz using the direct input.—AJ
