EPV Introduces ISF-Certified Projection Screens

EPV Screens has introduced a series of reference-grade-white projection screens that have been certified by the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) to provide reference-grade picture quality

Designed for dedicated home theaters and other controlled-light environments, the new Prime Vision ISF screens feature ChromaWhite material that has been certified by the ISF to provide “neutral color temperature, superior color contrast, and enhanced black-white dynamic range.”

Mounted on a fixed 2.4-inch aluminum frame hand-wrapped in velveteen, the matte-white material has a 1.25 gain and wide 180-degree viewing angle, according to EPV, and is compatible with standard "long-throw" projectors as well as short-throw and ultra-short-throw (UST) projectors. The screen is also available with EPV’s eFinity edge-free frame.

Screens with a 16:9 aspect ratio are available in (diagonal) sizes from 100 to 180 inches or you can get an ultra-wide 2.35:1 screen sized to 138 inches or 158 inches.

The frame features a split design that makes it easier to transport and sliding wall brackets to simplify installation, which EPV says can be done in a matter of minutes. The screen carries a limited lifetime warranty.
