Summary: A true audiophile soundbar from a company known for its megabucks speakers. The clever design includes a matching passive/wired subwoofer in the form of a soundbase that you place right behind the bar and put your HDTV on top of; you’ll definitely want it (or an alternate powered sub) to fill in the bottom. The system as a whole delivers some of the best audio quality, “bar none,” from any soundbar we’ve heard. (Review completed and pending publication shortly.)

Minus: A few operational and hookup quirks (it’s French!) • No remote-control learn/teach scheme
