1More Bundles Wireless Earbuds with Wearable Phone

China-based headphone specialist 1More, which claims to have sold 38 million headphones in 25 countries since 2014, has announced a bundle that pairs its $100 True Wireless (TWS) earbuds with what is being hailed as the “world's first commercially available wearable phone.”

The alpha from China’s Nubia Technology is a smartphone with the form factor of wristwatch that “can do things other wearables cannot.” The company does not elaborate except to say that the phone is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera and “clever UI shortcuts so you'll never miss a moment.”

The TWS earbuds are built around 0.3-inch titanium-composite drivers, support Bluetooth 5.0, and have “45° oblique-angled nozzles” to ensure a tight fit, with silicone "O-Hooks” providing stability when you’re on the go.

Rated battery life is 6.5 hours, which can be extended to 24 hours with the supplied charging case/backup battery.

A metallic finish, applied using a vacuum plating process and available in four colors, gives the earbuds an upscale look. The choices are black, green, gold, and pink.

Nubia says it chose 1More as a partner to “provide the user a quality, seamless experience…with smart integration.”
