Panasonic, Sony Add Streaming Options
The array of streaming options built into a/v products continues to grow with the announcements that Vudu will become available in Panasonic Blu-ray players and Hulu Plus in Sony products.

The Panasonic BD models include three 3D models: the DMP-BDT350, DMP-BDT300, and DMP-BDT100. Also included are the 2D DMP-BD85 and DMP-BD65 plus the DMP-B500 portable. Vudu movie rentals go for $2. Vudu streaming on Panasonic products starts today.
The Sony/Hulu announcement covers Bravia HDTVs, BD players, HTIBs, the Network Media Player, and the DASH (a personal internet viewer). Hulu Plus no longer requires an invitation. After a one-week trial, it costs $7.99/month. Interestingly, this is also what Netflix is charging for its unlimited streaming plan.
See Panasonic press release on the Panasonic announcement and Sony PlayStation Blog for the Sony announcement.
