Sony Brings Back ‘Days of Play(station)’ Promo, Announces New PS4

Sony has announced the return of its Days of Play promotion, which celebrates the PlayStation community with a new limited-edition PlayStation 4 console, discounted PS VR bundles, and “epic deals” on hardware, peripherals, and PlayStation 4 games.

The deals will be offered at participating retailers June 8-18.

The Limited Edition PS4 system ($300) features a bright blue case with a gold PlayStation symbol, has a 1 terabyte (TB) hard drive, and comes with a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller.

Sony announced the following discounts for the 11-day deal period:

Hardware and peripherals
• Jet Black PS4 Pro ($350)
• PlayStation VR bundles (starting at $200)
• DualShock 4 wireless controller (all colors, $40)
• PlayStation Move motion controller (two-pack, $80)
• PlayStation VR Aim controller ($50)

Games
• God of War ($50)
• Gran Turismo Sport ($20)
• Horizon Zero Dawn ($20)
• MLB The Show 18 ($40)
• Shadow of the Colossus ($20)
• Bravo Team (PS VR) ($30)
• Farpoint (PS VR) ($15)
• The Inpatient (PS VR) ($15)

Starting June 8, the Playstation Store will also offer promotions on popular games and network service memberships:

• PlayStation Plus: $50 for a 12-month PS Plus membership
• PlayStation Vue: $10/month off the standard Core plan price for the first two months ($45/month thereafter)
