Séura’s New Outdoor TVs Boast 4K and HDR

Just in time for the summer, Wisconsin-based Séura has introduced the Shade Series of weatherproof outdoor TVs boasting 4K resolution, compatibility with high dynamic range (HDR) content, and a 50-watt soundbar for robust two-channel sound.

Designed for permanent year-round installation on decks or patios and optimized for use in shaded areas, the new TVs are rated to withstand temperatures from –24° F to 104° F and sealed/IP54-rated to protect against moisture, dust, and insects.

The TVs are offered in 55- ($2,499), 65- ($3,999), and 75-inch ($5,999) screen sizes and feature proprietary adaptive picture technology that “continuously adjusts multiple picture settings to present optimal video quality in changing lighting conditions throughout the day.” With a rated brightness of 450 nits, Séura says the TVs are “brighter than any indoor TV and 30 percent brighter than similar alternatives.” Horizontal/vertical viewing angle is specified as 178°.

Connections include three HDMI inputs, a component-video input, a USB port, RCA and 3.5mm analog audio inputs, and optical and analog audio outputs.

The company offers an upgraded Bluetooth-enabled 60-watt soundbar as an option along with a selection of accessories, including waterproof wall mounts and TV covers. All models are covered by a two-year warranty.
