New York Audio Show Opens Friday

The New York Audio Show will return to Manhattan on Friday, November 8 for its fourth year at the Park Lane Hotel on Central Park South.

The 2019 event, which runs through Sunday (November 10), will play host to some 80 brands. Although the show is focused on high-end audio — from loudspeakers and headphones to hi-res digital audio gear, tube amplifiers, and state-of-the-art turntables — a number of more mainstream brands will be demonstrating their latest products. Among them Bluesound, Luxman, Marantz, MartinLogan, Polk, and Technics.

On the music side, Qobuz will be demonstrating the high-resolution music streaming service it launched in the U.S. early this year, online music store HDtracks will be showcasing its catalog of hi-res downloads, and Acoustic Sounds will be featuring audiophile LPs and hi-res DSD downloads available through SuperHiRez.com.

A handful of respected specialty retailers will also be on hand at the show, including Manhattan’s Sound by Singer, NJ-based Woodbridge Stereo/Video, and Scarsdale, NY-based Value Electronics, which is known for its Annual TV Shootout.
