Mixcder’s New Noise Canceling ’Phones Are Wireless and Cost $80

Mixcder, a California-based company that prides itself on delivering audio bargains, has introduced full-size wireless noise canceling headphones that sell for $80 on Amazon.

A follow-up to last year’s $40 E7, the Mixcder E9 headphones feature improved active noise canceling (ANC) technology, higher sensitivity microphones that “better counteract noise,” and enhanced bass thanks to upgraded 1.6-inch drivers.

The ANC technology creates a “totally immersive experience” by continuously analyzing the sound and producing inverse sound waves that block out ambient noise, according to the company.

Weighing in at just under 1.3 pounds, the E9s sport a foldable over-ear design with soft, protein leather earpads and rotating earcups. Mixcder has also enlarged the control buttons on the earcups so it’s easier to adjust volume, change music, and take or make phone calls.

Rated battery life is 30 hours when the lithium-ion battery is fully charged or you can use the supplied audio cable/airplane adapter to plug in the headphones and listen with ANC engaged for up to three days.

A lightweight carrying case is included.
