MartinLogan's popular Motion Series speakers will be ready for Dolby Atmos surround-sound action in November when the Motion AFX becomes available.

The Atmos-enabled height module is designed to sit on top of any Motion Series bookshelf or floorstanding speaker—or any speaker, for that matter, as long as it has a flat top.

Finished in gloss black, the AFX has an upward firing 0.75-inch aluminum dome tweeter and 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer, angled to bounce sound—specifically overhead sound like one of those spectacular Hollywood flyovers—off the ceiling in rooms where in-ceiling speakers are not practical (or wanted).

Estimated retail price of the AFX is $600 a pair.
