Marantz Unveils 9.2-Channel Atmos/DTS:X Receiver

As a follow-up to the recently introduced SR5011 AV receiver, Marantz announced that the 9.2-channel SR6011 will be available in September.

Rated to deliver 9 x 110 watts (8 ohms at 8% THD), the SR6011 is priced at $1,399 and supports Dolby Atmos surround-sound decoding for 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 setups, DTS:X decoding, Hi-Res Audio playback of files up to 192 kHz/24-bits (including DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz), and high-dynamic range (HDR)/Ultra HD 60 Hz video playback with HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 on all eight of its HDMI inputs.

Other highlights include:

• 4K/60 Hz full-rate pass-through, 4:4:4 color resolution, HDR and BT.2020
