‘Ford v Ferrari’ Now Streaming, Hits 4K Blu-ray Feb. 11

Ford v Ferrari, the film based on the epic underdog tale of Ford Motor Company’s attempt to build the world’s fastest car with legendary car designer Caroll Shelby, is available for streaming today with the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release to follow on February 11.

The film, which opened theatrically in November, stars Matt Damon as Shelby and Christian Bale as the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles who together battled corporate interference and the laws of physics to build a race car to challenge Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

Certified-Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 98% audience score, Ford v Ferrari is available digitally on Amazon Video, Apple TV, Movies Anywhere, Google Play, FandangoNow, Vudu, and YouTube. The 4K UHD version is $19.99 on FandangoNow and Vudu.

Bonus features include:

• “The 24 Hour Le Mans: Recreating the Course,” which shows how the climactic race of the film was achieved, from recreating the track to capturing and editing all the action.

• Animated pre-visualization sequences used as a roadmap for the filmmakers.

• “Bringing The Rivalry to Life,” a 60-minute behind-the-scenes documentary that will also appear on the Blu-ray release.

A conversation with Christian Bale and Matt Damon is available only through Apple TV as an iTunes Extras exclusive.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, which features a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, can be preordered for $31.99 in advance of its February 11 release at bestbuy.com.
