Yet another music streamer that doesn't handle all of the audio formats and no support for anything more than 2 channel for over $1000.

I've never really noticed any Roon ads on this site before -- why is this a top pick?

They offer a free 14-day trial. After that, consider that this streamer is bundled with Roon (otherwise, $499 for a lifetime subscription) and you will see its value. Roon also handles DSD via PCM conversion with the Discovery, so all important formats are accounted for.
