Consumers Hate Content Search

Pay-TV subscribers love watching programs but hate searching for them, according to Evolution Digital.

Focus groups voice annoyance with cable set-top boxes, saying they spend too much time finding what to watch. They prefer streaming services, though even those are problematic because the amount of content can become overwhelming. Then they revert to flipping through cable channels.

Some viewers, especially those 40 and older, also dislike switching TV inputs and remotes. And everyone hates the cost of renting a box. Interestingly, the FCC is grappling with some of these issues as it considers a next generation of digital cable readiness.

The problem is the amount of GOOD content for the monthly fee incurred! I am SICK of paying $180+ per MONTH for 500 channels of CRAP!
