Pioneer introduced a wireless earbud that offloads its rechargeable battery into a small in-line box with a spring-loaded clip that holds the cable running between the buds in place when your jogging, working out, or otherwise on the go.

The first model in the ClipWear Active line, the SE-CL5BT earbuds ($40) are water/sweat-resistant and weigh only three-quarters of an ounce. The earbuds support multipoint Bluetooth technology, which enables them to connect to two devices simultaneously and switch between them.

A slender in-line control unit houses a microphone and buttons for volume and hands-free connection of incoming/outgoing calls. Battery life is rated at up to 8 hours per charge, which takes about 2 hours.

The earbuds come with small, medium, and large silicon eartips and a MicroSD charging cable. Color options include black, red, blue, mint, and white.
