Klipsch Adds First Soundbar to Reference Speaker Series
Klipsch has added the R-10B soundbar to its Reference Series of speakers, marking the first time a soundbar has been offered under the company’s Reference moniker.
The two-way R-10B mates ¾-inch horn-loaded textile-dome tweeters with two 3-inch polypropylene woofers, supports Bluetooth wireless streaming and aptX audio coding for lossless streaming, and has an built-in Dolby Digital surround-sound decoder. Bass is off-loaded to a standalone wireless subwoofer, featuring a slot-port design with a side-firing 8-inch driver and MDF cabinet.
Removable feet and keyhole mounts provide placement flexibility allowing the 40-inch-wide soundbar to be mounted to a wall or rest in front of the TV. Finish is satin black and brushed black vinyl for the subwoofer.
The R-10B is available at authorized retailers and on Klipsch.com for $600.
