‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Pushed Off to 2019

Netflix has confirmed that Season 3 of the smash hit show Stranger Things that was teased for a release this summer has been delayed until 2019.

At the recent Television Critics Association’s press tour, Netflix vice president of original content Cindy Holland told Altpress.com that the show’s creators know the stakes are high and “want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year. And so they really want to take the time to get it right.”

Word has it that the third season, which began production in April, will be much darker than the previous seasons and contain more special effects. New characters will also reportedly be added into the mix.

I stopped watching after the first season.

These kids are going to start growing beards and won't be so cute anymore. People are going to forget the last two seasons and there will not be continuity. I am please with todays high quality programming (This truly is the Golden Age of Television) but I do miss the better spacing and larger quantity of the TV shows of yore. I bet some of this is trouble with actor schedules, but also I would bet that they are all holding out for more cash, and who could blame them?
