Vizio has introduced a 2.1-channel all-in-one audio system for media cabinets and living areas with limited table or counter space such as dens, small kitchens, and dorm rooms.

Designed to support TVs that weigh up to 60 pounds, the $250 Sound Stand (model S2121w-D0) is 3 inches tall and matches screens up to 55 inches but can also function as a stand-alone music system. Features include Bluetooth streaming, a downward firing 5.25-inch woofer, and four sound modes: Dolby Digital, DTS TruSurround, DTS TruVolume, and DTS Studio Sound.

Vizio says the system can produce sound levels up to 101 dB with less than 1 percent total harmonic distortion and has “measurable” bass down to 32 Hz. Audio cables are included.
