Velodyne says the agreement will provide integrators and dealers with consistent access to its subwoofer lineup and expanded support in the U.S. market.

Velodyne will launch a dedicated U.S. website, velodyneusa.com, for product information, warranty registration, dealer lookup, and technical support.

At CEDIA 2025, Velodyne plans to introduce the SPL-X Series subwoofers as part of its U.S. rollout with Playback Distribution. The company positions SPL-X as the next step in its compact, installation-friendly subwoofer lineup, with control and integration options aimed at custom installers and two-channel systems. Demonstrations are planned on the show floor and in partner rooms.

Also scheduled for a U.S. debut are the SC-600 IW X in-wall speaker and the SC-1500 amplifier. Velodyne says the SC-1500 is designed for CI integration with configuration and tuning features intended to simplify setup and room integration; additional specifications and availability details are expected to be shared at the show.

Playback Distribution will handle logistics and dealer support for the brand in the U.S.

Velodyne, founded in 1983, is known for servo-controlled subwoofer technology and says it continues to develop low-frequency products for music, movies, and gaming.
