Toshiba Takes Off the 3D Glasses

Would you like to watch 3D without glasses? Toshiba is developing a technology that will do just that.

It's not a brand-new idea. No-glasses 3D exists for store displays. Samsung, Mitsubishi, and Nintendo have no-glasses 3D technologies, and small companies make filters that fit over portable devices to provide 3D effects. Toshiba's version of the technology might bring it into the mainstream TV sphere. But so far it is confined to the lab, according to a Japanese newspaper report.
