Sonos/IKEA Symfonisk Wi-Fi Speakers Now Available

The Symfonisk line of wireless speakers Sonos developed in collaboration with Swedish furniture king IKEA is now available.

The Wi-Fi-based speakers were apparently very well-received by IKEA customers when they were unveiled last week (see video below).

The line includes a rectangular bookshelf speaker ($99) that can be used vertically or horizontally or mounted on the wall with an optional bracket and a table lamp with a speaker built into its base ($179).

Both models integrate seamlessly with any Sonos products or system and support Apple’s AirPlay 2 wireless platform for streaming directly from iPhones, iPads, and other Apple devices (iOS 11.4 or later required.)
