This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the TSB3.0’s left channel (purple trace) and center channel (green trace). The passive loudspeaker sections were measured with grille at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes.

The left channel’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +1.04/–4.06 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3dB point is at 156 Hz, and the –6dB point is at 128 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.41 ohms at 326 Hz and a phase angle of –43.28 degrees at 198 Hz.

The center channel’s listening-window response measures +0.67/–2.86 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. An average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +1.02/–3.97 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3dB point is at 152 Hz, and the –6dB point is at 125 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.39 ohms at 330 Hz and a phase angle of –46.34 degrees at 183 Hz.—MJP
