Panasonic Ultra HD TVs Are Now “Netflix Recommended”

Panasonic’s entire 2015 lineup of 4K UHD Smart TVs will carry the “Netflix Recommended TV designation, the company announced. The logo highlights Internet-enabled TVs that meet specific criteria outlined by Netflix.

In all, nine models with screen sizes from 50 to 65 inches in the CX850, CX800, CX650, and CX600 series qualified for the logo. The following features were cited:

  • Pressing the Netflix button on the remote control turns the TV on and launches Netflix.
  • Apps resume quickly and return to where the user last left off.
  • The TV’s Firefox OS-based user interface enables easy navigation and switching between apps and inputs.
