Optoma Mini LED Projector Boasts Media Player

Optoma has introduced an Android-based, plug-and-play projector with a built-in media player, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless connectivity, and a 20,000-hour LED light source.

Designed to bring big screen projection virtually anywhere, the compact IntelliGO-S1 projector ($429) weighs only 1 pound and supports screen mirroring with Android and iOS devices and has 8 gigabytes (GB) of memory for downloading streaming apps such as Amazon, HBO GO, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, and Spotify from the Aptoide Open Source App Store.

The built-in media player supports 2D to 3D conversion and video playback via its USB and Micro SD ports.

Resolution is 1280 x 720 with a rated brightness of 500 lumens and contrast ratio of 15,000:1. HDMI, USB3.0, USB2.0, and Micro SD inputs are provided along with an audio output and AV port. A padded hard shell carry case with strap is included.
