We at Optoma Technology, Inc. appreciate the time and efforts of this "sneak peek" review of the Optoma HD81 home theater projection system. It's obvious that Mr. Norton did a detailed analysis of the system in the short time he's had with this pre-production unit.

We're pleased to know that Mr. Norton understands the target market that Optoma is aiming for with this system. As with all Optoma products, we strive to make the best projection devices possible, and have these projectors produce the best image quality for consumers.

Mr. Norton's commentary about the couple of issues that presented themselves in the sneak peek are being reviewed by Optoma engineers and product management teams as we speak. Because the HD81 projection system is a unique two-piece system, we are aware of that certain firmware upgrades and tweaks need to be investigated prior to mass production. . .namely because we want the best projection system for consumers.

We are proud of this new projection system, as it is a major breakthrough for Optoma, the home theater market and its enthusiasts.
