In celebration of its 25th Anniversary release on DVD (and hopefully, Blu-ray?) MGM and Fathom Events are teaming up for an extraordinary one-night event, coming to a digital cinema near you.

Block it out on your Blackberry: July 24th, at 7:30pm (local time), theaters across the country will have a digital screening of WarGames including a sneak peek into the sequel, WarGames: The Dead Code. Sequel? Really?

This is being presented by the same outfit that streams The Metropolitan Opera House performances across the country, along with other special event films and presentations.
