New Sanus Bracket Integrates Soundbar and TV

Sanus has announced the availability of a universal bracket designed to suspend a soundbar beneath a wall-mounted TV.

Built to support soundbars weighing up to 20 pounds, the new SASB1 mount attaches to the back of the TV and the back or bottom of the soundbar and includes height and depth adjustments to ensure seamless integration with the TV. With the depth adjustment, you can even extend the soundbar beyond the edge of the TV to accommodate a bar with up-firing “height” speakers. Pricing was not available.

Installation requires only a screwdriver and takes 15 minutes, according to Sanus. All necessary hardware is provided.

The bracket is complies with the VESA display mounting standard and will accommodate TVs with screen sizes between 32 and 90 inches.

"The SASB1 continues Sanus’ long tradition of introducing solutions that address both form and function in installations," said Jim Mugge, senior product manager at parent company Legrand. "Not only does the mount allow for an ideal fit between soundbars and mounted TVs for a sleek look, but it perfectly positions speakers for optimal audio performance. Add in its wide range of compatibility and easy three-step installation, and you've got a powerful solution to tackle almost any project."
