New Bose SoundLink II Wireless Headphone Touts 15-Hour Battery Life

Bose today introduced the SoundLink II full-size wireless headphone featuring 15 hours of battery life, NFC Bluetooth pairing, and a foldable, lightweight and impact-resistant design for use on-the-go.

Priced at $280, the 7-ounce headphone uses proprietary Bose technologies, including active equalization and new volume-optimized equalization said to avoid frequency boosts to ensure natural sound at any volume.

Other highlights include multi-point connection for simultaneously connecting two devices—say, a tablet and a phone—seamless audio/video sync, easy switching between music and calls, intuitive earcup controls, and voice prompts that announce who’s calling and tell you how much battery life is left.

The SoundLink II uses an advanced microphone system with HD voice and adaptive audio technology that dynamically adjusts volume based on speech level and changing environments so you can move from a quiet building to a noisy street while talking on the phone “without missing a word or fumbling for controls.”

Bose rates battery life as 15 hours on a single charge, which it claims is 25 percent higher than the industry standard. A 15-minute quick charge feature enables up to two hours of play time.

The SoundLink II headphone is available in black or white. More information is available at bose.com.
