Netflix Streaming coming to Windows Phone 7

Netflix is on a mission to get their streaming service onto just about every device with a screen, but the cell phone market has been woefully neglected until now. Microsoft has been showing off how their new Windows Phone 7 platform plays nice with Netflix's instantly available library and the future looks very promising. Of course, the streaming is the big deal here, but the app, which is being developed by Vertigo, also gives you full control over your queue, which is a nice feature to have on the road. Gizmodo has video of the user experience and it looks very slick. There's no official date and no word on how much the app itself will actually cost, but this is definitely a step in the right direction when it comes to streaming content on mobile devices. Maybe we'll eventually even see that Netflix logo gracing the big, beautiful iPad screen. I'm not going to be holding my breath, though. -Stan Horaczek
