MSE Audio’s Soundsphere Facility Lost to Fire

MSE Audio’s Soundsphere facility in Stratford, CT was lost to fire early Monday morning. The building had served as an office, warehouse, and manufacturing site for omnidirectional speakers made for public spaces. No injuries were reported.

The company announced plans to set up manufacturing at its Jacksonville, Florida facilities and expects to have operations up and running in two to three months.

Based in Overland Park, Kansas, MSE Audio is the parent company of the speaker brands Phase Technology, dARTS Digital Theater, Rockustics, Induction Dynamics, Solid Drive, SoundTube, and Soundsphere.

In a statement posted on the MSE website, the company wrote:

Our Soundsphere offices, manufacturing facility and warehouse in Stratford, CT were lost in a major fire in the early morning of July 9. We want to keep you updated on how this will affect your orders. Please contact MSE Audio customer service at (855) 663-5600 as soon as possible to arrange for products you need to complete impending jobs.

We will do our absolute best to get you the products you need, in the time you need them, from our limited inventory across the country. If the product you ordered is not available, we can recommend a similar product to meet your audio needs for your specific application. We want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to make sure you can finish your jobs as promised.

MSE will begin setting up manufacturing today at our Jacksonville, Florida facility. We expect to ramp up and be running at full capacity in 8-12 weeks and will provide updates as more information is available.

We are happy to report that everyone at the facility is safe, and we do wish to sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this fire caused. You are our valued customers, your success is our success.
