GoldenEar Founder to Demo Triton Reference Speaker
The event will take place 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 at Gramophone in Timonium Maryland. In what will be the second public showing of the Triton Reference, Gross will discuss the genesis of T Ref and use his favorite program material to demonstrate the speakers in addition to answering questions.
Positioned above the company’s best-selling Triton One speaker, the Reference Triton is an evolution of the technology and concepts introduced in GoldenEar’s award winning Triton Series, which debuted in 2010. In his review, Al Griffin wrote: “The detailed, dynamic, and full-range sound had the effect of turning me into a music junkie. I’m a regular music listener, but once I had the Reference up and running, I found myself wanting to do little else.”
Gross has been involved in the audio industry since 1972, when he and two friends founded Polk Audio. In 1990, Gross and two friends founded Definitive Technology, and in 2010, he and Don Givogue founded GoldenEar Technology, with two slogans to define the company and their goals: "A Passion for Sonic Perfection" and "We Make High-End Affordable."
