Denon, Marantz, and Classé rebrand HEOS as “Powered by HEOS”

“The name change signals that HEOS is the wireless engine inside products by brands people already know and trust,” the announcement states. The HEOS ecosystem now spans more than 50 products across the three brands. The companies report a cumulative install base of more than five million HEOS-powered units and specify support for up to 64 products operating in 32 zones.
On software, the companies say the recent app work builds on the HEOS 3.0 architecture introduced in late 2023 and includes interface refinements such as customizable Home Page, centralized search, and grouping presets, with additional updates planned through 2025. Recent platform additions include support for services such as Qobuz and Roon Ready certification on select devices.
The rebrand includes a new logo, described as being inspired by radio-wave iconography, and a refreshed app icon intended to visually unify the platform across brands and product categories, including AV receivers, soundbars, and wireless speakers.
The companies frame the shift as a clarification of role and scope: one app-based platform spanning three brands, with system scalability from a single room to whole-home coverage.
