Countdown to the Masters, Live in 4K

If you can’t make it to Augusta for the 2016 Masters Tournament, no worries. AT&T and DirecTV are putting golf fans “on the green” by broadcasting the event live in 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) starting tomorrow, Thursday, April 7.

AT&T/DirecTV will broadcast all four rounds of Tournament play at the Augusta National Golf Club from the Amen Corner feed, which covers portions of the 11th (White Dogwood), 12th (Golden Bell), and 13th (Azalea) holes. Live coverage will run from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET on April 7-10.

The broadcast follows the launch of the 4K On Demand channel included in AT&T DirecTV’s Ultimate and Premier packages. Dedicated to delivering Ultra HD programming, the 24/7 channel features documentaries and content from DirecTV’s Audience Network and other sources.

If you don’t own a DirecTV 4K Ready TV from Samsung, LG, or Sony, to view the 4K broadcasts you will need a...
