AudioControl Celebrates 45 Years with 8K-Ready X-Series Gear

AudioControl is celebrating 45 years in the audio business with a series of new products aimed at the custom installer, a few of which are sure to catch the attention of home theater enthusiasts.

The Seattle-based firm is showing new 8K-ready versions of its X-Series A/V processors and receivers that now support HDMI 2.1 with HDCP2.3. The models are fully loaded 16-channel devices that support the major immersive surround formats and provide advanced room correction.

The company is also showcasing the Architect Model P250EQ, a low-profile “1U” rack-mountable stereo amplifier rated to deliver 250 watts per channel into 8, 4, or 2 ohms. In addition to being equipped to deliver steady power into low impedance loads, the amp provides an array of inputs to accommodate every imaginable application plus three selectable EQ curves, engineered to enhance the performance of in-ceiling/wall architectural loudspeakers.

All models are backed by Audio Control’s 5-year warranty. Here's to another 45 years.
