Projection Screen Reviews

Measurements were made with a 100 IRE white test pattern displayed via a Sony VPL-HW65ES projector calibrated to the reference Stewart Cima Neve screen and taken with a Photo Research PR650 colorimeter and SpectraCal CalMAN software. Both the reference screen and VApex screen under test used a matte white screen material with 1.1 gain. Variations in color balance or brightness from the reference screen to the VApex were minor and within easily adjustable tolerances with proper projector-to-screen calibration.—AG
