Eisuke Tsuyuzaki was named Chief Technology Officer of Panasonic Corporation of North America, the principal North American subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation in 2009. In addition to serving as Panasonic's technology leader in this region, he directs Panasonic's efforts in new business development, including strategic alliance building.

Prior to taking on this role, Mr. Tsuyuzaki served as managing director of Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory and concurrently as Vice President, Corporate Development of Panasonic R&D Company of America from February 2005. Both the Hollywood Laboratory and Panasonic R&D Company of America are units of Panasonic Corporation of North America.

In these positions, Mr. Tsuyuzaki directed research and development, including technology standardization operations of the Hollywood Laboratory, and led Panasonic's Blu-ray Disc and Full HD 3D format promotion in North America. He also acted as the principal liaison for Panasonic with the Hollywood creative and entertainment production communities, including guiding Panasonic's relationship with 20th Century Fox's 3D epic adventure, James Cameron's Avatar.

Prior to joining Panasonic, Mr. Tsuyuzaki served in leadership positions within the corporate strategy and business development functions of Sony Corp., Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Columbia-Tristar Motion Pictures.

Mr. Tsuyuzaki holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Sophia University in Tokyo and certificates from the University of California, Los Angeles, in Film, Television, Video & New Media as well as Marketing and Management of Entertainment Products. He is a graduate of Stanford University's Stanford Executive Program and has also attended Heriot-Watt University's Edinburgh Business School, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Tsuyuzaki is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
