LG GX 3.1 Soundbar Sets a Slim Standard

One highlight of LG’s CEDIA Expo Virtual 2020 booth is the GX 3.1 soundbar, a model that the company rolled out in July to accompany its GX Gallery Series TVs such as the 65-inch 65GXPUA that Sound & Vision recently reviewed.

LG designed the GX soundbar to perfectly match the stylish 65GXPUA. It has the exact same width as LG’s Gallery Series OLED, a matching aluminum frame, and measures a remarkably slim 1.5 inches deep. The 3.1- channel bar is Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatible, Hi-res Audio(24bit/96kHz) capable, and supports 4K/Dolby Vision pass-through via its multiple HDMI ports (including one with eARC). LG’s soundbar comes also with a wireless subwoofer and features Bluetooth for music streaming.

The GX 3.1 soundbar is available now for $1,000.
