I am very pleased to see Denon continues to offer Audyssey MultEQ XT32. I am so pleased with the improvement in sound that this auto-calibration feature produces. Onkyo has dropped this feature and has lost many customers as a result.

Haven't upgraded since Dolby Digital and Component Video. I need this!!

Specs barely below the retiring 6200, adding multi-room-casting for B and C outputs. The 6200 has higher amp power though.

I have been able to stretch the technological life of my excellent Denon AVR-5800 7.1 channel AVR (without a single HDMI in/out) by using 7 channel analog outputs from my Oppo BD player providing the latest/greatest audio processing, and TV and Roku audio using optical ins/outs feeding seven Def Tech speakers, two with built-in subs. Anxious to upgrade to 7.2.4. This AVR might provide an upgrade path - with outboard amps.

For years I used to sell Denon receivers at Best Buy in the Magnolia Home Theater department. Denon was one of my favorite receivers to demonstrate to show off it's audio capabilities. Very high quality. Amazing features. Easy to navigate. It was the first to get Dolby Atmos for the home. Amazing. For years they would find homes with happy customers while I worked there and that always made me happy. One day I will own one myself. When that day comes it will be glorious. Here's hoping I am the chosen one.

I have been a Denon person for the past 15 years! My first Denon reciever was the AVR 3801! A great reciever. I currently own a AVR 2313CI and am looking to upgrade to Dolby Atmos sound setup.
