Back in NYC - after 9 days and nights of SXSW Music, Film, and Interactive in Austin, Texas - I finally have time to mull over the 21 acts I managed to see during the music portion of the festival.

That perfect 21 might suggest that I had a lucky hand at SXSW this year. But as is the case every year, I heard much that was good and some that was . . . not.

At the CEDIA EXPO held earlier this month in Denver, Colorado, Infinity Systems introduced three new systems in the company's Total Solutions System line: the TSS-1200, TSS-800, and TSS-500. Last week T-Mobile announced an un-metered streaming service called Binge On that allows video from Netflix, HBO Now, ESPN, SlingTV and 21 other services to be streamed without counting toward subscribers' monthly data plan. Subscribers must have a 3-gigabyte data plan to qualify for the service.
