Yogi Bear 3D (Blu-ray 3D)
This one certainly caters to a younger audience and I doubt viewers without kids would want to give it a look. Regardless, it actually isn't that bad and features surprisingly good 3D effects, a decent story, and the cartoon characters of Yogi and Boo Boo blend seamlessly with the live-action actors.
Video Highlights
- MVC/1080p encode on a BD-50 disc

- Excellent dynamics
- Intelligible dialog
The supply of 3D movies on Blu-ray is pretty slim right now and because of that I just had to watch Yogi Bear in order to feed my 3D desires. While the movie is middling at best, the 3D effects are very good, especially the exterior vistas of Jellystone Park. Brightness is never an issue and the depth of field is excellent.
Bonus Materials

If you're starved for 3D content and you have young kids, then you may want to check this one out. It's by no means great cinema (nor is it meant to be), but the 3D is outstanding and there's an occasional laugh to keep things interesting.
