Totem Acoustic Sttaf Loudspeakers, Outlaw Audio LFM-2 Subwoofer, and Outlaw Audio RR2150 Stereo Receiver HT Labs Measures: Totem
L/R Sensitivity: 84 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz
This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the Sttaf L/R (purple trace) and the LFM-2 subwoofer (blue trace). The passive loudspeaker was measured without a grille at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input.
The Sttaf's listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +4.59/–2.82 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 40 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 36 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 4.89 ohms at 164 Hz and a phase angle of –55.96 degrees at 96 Hz.
The LFM-2's close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 27 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 25 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 117 Hz with the crossover switch set to out.—MJP
