I think S&V is missing the point with measurements. I don't read your magazine's reviews with the idea that I'll have to supplement it by going to rtings.com. If that's what you want me to do, what do I need S&V for? I'm sure there are sites I can visit to get up-to-date new equipment news and reviews, but I prefer to get them here. The magazine has definitely changed over the last few years. I'm not particularly thrilled about the 'esoteric' music some of your reviewers use to evaluate equipment, or the way you promote streaming services to physical media. It reminds me of how fast S&V was to avoid almost any mention of 3D after it was dropped by TV manufacturers in 2017. You must have known many of your readers were still fans of the format. I will admit I was very pleased with David Vaughn's review of the Rythmik FV15HP2, which I'm actually thinking of purchasing. But it was followed by a review of the Onkyo TX-RZ70 that had no measurements at all. Why did it receive 4.5 stars instead of 5 for performance? Maybe measurements could have provided an answer.
