Hisense Doubles Down on Laser TV

Hisense had its new Dual-Color Laser TV, the next-gen version of its all-in-one ultra-short-throw projection solution that we tested in 2018 on display at CES.

The new model is a 4K pixel-shifting DLP projector that uses red and blue lasers to bump the color gamut coverage close to P3 (the previous Laser TVV version covered only the Rec. 709 color gamut used for HDTV) and deliver increased brightness (3,200 lumens according the company’s specs). It also has a redesigned Harman 2.1 audio system featuring 14 drivers.

The Dual-Color Laser TV is available now for $10,000 with a 100-inch screen ambient light-rejecting screen, and $13,000 with a 120-inch ALR screen.
